I'm looking to get a new mouse mat as my old one is pretty beaten down by now. I got a Corsair MM300 so I like a rough texture as it gives me more precision. This is a hard mat but I'm looking for a soft one with a hard texture on top. Currently my hard mat just destroys my mouse skates anyway.
Share your mouse mats or any other good advice?

I prefer cloth mouse mats, cause they give super accuracy for me, over a hard mouse mat. The one I use is the Roccat Taito Control. Find it to be a super smooth mat, and with the Logitech Gaming Software just get the software to "tune" my G502 for the surface for extra precision.
Edges are stiched, meaning that it's much more longer lasting as it won't fray. The pic below gives you an idea of what I mean. The mat on top is the Roccat Taito, and the mat underneath is the Roccat Taito Control. On the Control, you can see how they've put the blue stiching all the way around the edge. Had mine for well over a year now and not a single hint of fraying at the edges.

I like hard surface, not fabric, doesn't move fast enough.

Hi, mine is the Steelseries QcK Mass - Pro Gaming Mousepad. about 35x30 cm i guess.
You can test it on the LAN. I like it a lot... but you won't get many kills out of it
