Call of Duty: WWII

Call of duty 3 was made by a team that didn't even know how to make pc game. So we didn't get nr 3. But we didn't miss alot.
Cod4 still had full dev of pc. Dedicated servers, mods, custom maps, in-game mod/map downloader, console to change variables, clantag, free maps (no dlc), 120 hz,...
Unlike the 10 versions after this one or like battlefield bad company 2 where prone didn't exist because it didn't work on console. Bf3 was said back to pc roots but that was marketing as they didn't even invest in in-game server browser.
Only indie devs make a pure pc game thesedays.
Bf4 ace 23 it's true about the spotting and mini map. However, esl server config file allowed mini map and spotting. Friendly fire was on.
Cod4 promod shines in this one: minimap disabled and sc hit impact.

So we're starting to see some vids of CoD WWII multiplater starting to surface, and I got a mail about it too. If anyone would like to see some more of what is on offer you can check out the official website here.
I also found this article from PC Gamer. They offer their opinion on some of the game play, but the part that I was really interested in was the last paragraph:
" As for key technical details about multiplayer on PC, developer Sledgehammer told me that we shouldn't expect content differences between platforms (the new, 48-player social area called Headquarters will appear on PC too, for example). Dedicated servers are guaranteed. Sledgehammer couldn't clarify exactly which graphics settings will be available, only that the expected set of options will be there. The multiplayer designer I spoke to was unsure what anti-cheat solution is being used—expect us to track down these details between now and November."
If there is no decent anti-cheat, and I mean something like BattleEye not that totally useless piece of crap called FairFight, then I won't be buying it. If however there is a decent anti cheat and also decent PC graphical settings, (like unlocked FPS), then it could be something I'd be quite interested in. Guess we'll wait and see!!

With a world full of corrupted people I'm not playing a game anymore without anti-cheat If the game would indeed have a console-lock of 60FPS, sorry but that I'm not playing either COD has lost track since COD4 imo, MW2 I found a good game, but the amount of cheaters since then was terribble.

I like the new game mode idea 6v6 attack vs defend.

Yeah the new game mode looks good, and objective based with different objectives along the way. It's all about how much they care about their PC player base for me. I don't hold much hope going on past experience.
There is no PC beta, (PS4 only), so that makes me wary already. And the fact the designer couldn't tell them what anti-cheat solution was being used also made me wary.
If I buy it will be on Steam. Not as cheap as some other sources, but at least it's hassle free money back, (so long as you don't play more than a certain amout of hours).
