It's fanbase is gone, people still play it because there's nothing else but I don't like it that much anymore because of all the new introduced bugs and lack of anticheat (which is now solved though ). This game is THE reason we're looking for a new game such as Rocket League, Battallion and Ready or Not. Don't get me wrong, I still like the game, but they stole a bit of fun from me by screwing with this game.

Yeah seems to me that R6 still has a strong player base and people are much happier that they seem to have now implemented some of the things that should have been there from the start, like a client side anti chear system, (FairFight is fairly crap!)
That said I can imagine when the next decent FPS shooter comes out people will move on fairly rapidly. R6 would have been out for 2 years in December this year.
Personally I'd love to see Medal of Honour brought back. I know the last one, Warfighter, took a beating in the reviews, but literally EA only provided 1 patch and 3 months of support before closing down the team that developed it. That said, it developed a loyal and strong core of players, (I was one of them for about 2 years), and I loved the game. It was brutal in it's damage model, recoil was massive, horizontal spread is what really messed people up, (you simply cannot control that, it's so much more difficult to master than just vertical recoil), but the game mechanics where, in my opinion, some of the best I've encountered. Sound was amazing, (even more so than R6) and the gun play took a while to get to grips with but once you'd learnt it, you could do some serious damage.
I really hope EA re-launch the title.

I agree with Drunk, although it doesn't feel that way, if they make another game which is within our taste we'll switch and forget about r6 sooner than any other game. Why? Because after 2 years bugs still aren't fixed which shouldvve been fixed even before launch. Especially the long waiting times within the menu is killing me. What the ratio? 40% in-game where you die 50% so you can't play and 60% lobby time? Like Killfail would say, RIP

My reaction when I launched R6: Yaaaaaay another DLC released! Finally!
What is the new content? New maps? New operators?
Rainbow 6 dev team: NOPE AND NOPE! *shows middlefinger*
